how to search for private sellers only on ebay motors

Hi all, probably a daft question...

I am sure you used to differentiate between private and trade sales for cars on ebay. For some reason I can't find that option when I refine my categories now. Am I going mad? I don't want to look at car dealers, just stuff for sale privately.

I'm not sure if the desktop & mobile layouts are the same, but on the desktop version have a look on the left hand side where you have the Categories, Model Year, etc, sections, and scroll down until you get to the section titled "more refinements".

If you click the more refinements section it should bring up a pop up window with different options. Scroll down to the "Seller" tab and clicking that should bring up an options pane that allows you to select the seller type by either Business or Private.

Unfortunately there are loads of dealers/traders in the private section, something eBay doesn't seem to give a st about, some even have 'carsales' in the user name and are up front about being dealers yet they sell through a private eBay account.

Mobile tablet version seems to lack the ability to choose seller type. That's what I used to use. Stupid eBay! Thanks for the info.
