Swapped over from npower to FU and bills dropped from £118 to £86 per month. Uk based call staff too. Thumbs up from me

Did for about 2 and half years. I moved to them they hadn't been in the market long and were offering a healthy £90 cashback via TopCashBack.

Never had a bill from them for 15 months, although I always submitted my meter readings every month as you have to do (they send an email reminder every month) and it took a fair few attempts via phone and email to get hold of them and ask for a bill. I paid by DD and wanted to ensure there were no nasty surprises coming.

They had a spell where they had basically taken far too many customers on than their call centre could cope with (they admitted as much when I finally spoke to them) and there were lots of complaints across the internet. Believe they have spent some money on their call centre staffing now though, but I left them about 6 months for a cheaper deal with Sainsburys, so not sure if its improved now.

Yup I use them & transferred Mum to them around the same time, about 2 years for both now. No issues.

Odd confused Everything is online with FU. (I.e. Bills, statements, usage details, fancy graphs..)

You can printout whatever you need.

Absolute nightmare to begin with. As someone said they took too many customers on.

All now ok, and to be honest it's piss easy.

Been with them for a few years, they're always the cheapest, however you have to keep on top of the tariffs to make sure you're on their best one. Everything done online, you download bills and print out, if you want a paper copy.

Was with them for 3 years in our previous property and had no complaints about them in the time we had with them. Only changed as we've moved and ExtraEnergy had a better tariff on offer and they also had fairly good reviews. Seem to be pretty good also up to now at least smile

I saw all the fancy graphs, usage details etc as I religiously logged on every month before the cut off date to enter my meter readings, but at no point was I issued/or able to print off a 6 or 12 monthly bill either manually or automatically online because they never produced one on my account. The system even had messages that said 'when next bill issued' or something along those lines on different pages. I recall they were upgrading their systems so maybe it has improved since I left. My comments are not in detriment to the provider, they were very cheap compared to the rest, but I had that experience re the bill generation and was told by them when I finally got through to the call centre that they had had issues due to the volume of customers they took on.
