Just planning my trip to Le Mans for next year and I'm just wondering how people work out what teams are where?

I've noticed the last few years there's the same group of Brits opposite Aston Martin and another group across from corvette racing. Wanting to try and get some seats down the front on stands 34 above Aston Martin next year but want to make sure I get the right seats.

If you check the garage plan for this year then a lot of the larger teams will be in the same place, but actually there is no guarantee (afaik).

Audi have tended to have the far end of the pitlane (but before the row of woe) for at least the past 10 years if not since they started going to Le Mans.

Toyota picked up the first garages from Peugeot, keeping themselves a nice distance from Audi.

Porsche have plumped for the middle garages, keeping themselves equidistant from the other two big manufacturers.

Aston - I think are in a set of garages that are open for 4 cars and this suits them.

Saying all of that I seem to remember that it's either the WC or the LM winner from the previous year that has first dibs on where they go, but I guess some of this is sorted out by a gentleman's understanding.

It is fairly static... new ones seem to go into the Granny Annex
