Performance exhaust for 1998 4.0 XK8?

Hi all...can anyone recommend an aftermarket/performance exhaust system for my '98 XK8 4.0?....I have seen loads on ebay, between £300-£500, all promising 'custom made to order' 't304 steel used' and 'noticeable increase in growl and performance' (though none specify power gains)...Has anybody any experience of 'Quicksilver Exhausts'?...they do a full system for around £1000....and, is there much of a power difference between a system having 5 silencers in all and one having only the large 'X' centre silencer?...

They will make it for you on the spot. They quoted me for a cat back full system on a 2003 4.2 XKR in 2014: £299+vat for stainless with a 10 year warranty and quoted £399 for a higher grade material which has a lifetime warranty.
They can tune it to however you like. I.e remove whichever set of silencers or reduce them.

I've got a Quicksilver exhaust on my 1997 XK8 which was bought when Paramount were still operating, and it's been brilliant. I've just got the centre box in place, but I couldn't tell you what gains there were as I had sports cats and a remap at the same time, now they did improve things.
