Hi,

anybody changed the original ECU to the ZandF version? What changed? Would you do it again?

Cheers

Yep, z&f remapped my old VVC ecu, I would spend the cash again, the best way to describe the difference in driving the car was that it felt like it had been fitted with a lightened flywheel, improved throttle response and quicker revving

How long was the turn around and did they need the car, or do they literally just reflash the ECU?

Came back straight pretty damn quick? Just plug it back in and away you go? Once unlocked, can you yourself access it if needed?

Is likely to know a lot more about the calibration, it's affects on drivability and what hardware and software are required to access the ECU. AFAIK a development ECU is used to perfect the calibration which is then loaded to the customers ECU.

Sorry, didn't realise I would have to spell it out smile
