I have a chance for £50 more a month get an M3. I have lots of choose in the company car scheme, but want to test drive a few others than just the M3.

What else comes close to that car?

An m3 as a company car? Pretty damn good place to work I reckon.

Depends what the other options are surely? I mean if its a 2.0 tdi s-sline A4 in white then no competition?

Looks like Mercedes AMG, Seat FR, VW R Line, Audi Quattro S Line. Serious amount of choose! Jag R Sport, but that will prob be £100 a moth extra.

Are you sure you're not just referring to an M Sport then going by what you've just mentioned?

Oh dear.

That's not an m3 it's just an m sport BMW. They give the car nicer bumpers and former suspension that I think is lower by 10mm than the standard car. You also get M sport alloys.

Just a spec level, same as Audi S Line.
Not an S car or and M car.

You might want to research company car tax too

Tax seems to be between £200 and £300 a month depending on the car, so in the grand scheme of things ok for the car choose.

Doesn't work offer a cash allowance instead that may save you more than £50 ? All depends on CO2/BiK and personal circumstances but company cars are rarely fiscally efficient.

Maybe ask someone at work who might know a bit more about cars to have a look at exactly what you are being offered. If it's as it seems, the answer has to be a resounding yes.

We run 10 company cars. We did a full exercise on all drivers and only in one case was the driver better off with cash. Company car was a winner for the other 9.

You aren't looking at M3's then with that tax bracket!

Judging by the spelling involved is it school holidays again?

Obviously it depends how much cash the allowance represent and what the particular Bik rates compared to tax rate. The only Company car that would work for me fiscally (ie removing the impact of the level of cash equivalent) is a fairly low emissions car, which wouldn't work at all for my needs !
