Bolt sizes

Does anybody know what size bolts for an S3 including washers and nuts are for the following :=


Rear hub bearing carriers to Trailing arm for original drum brake option?
Drum brake wheel cylinder retaining bolts

Many thanks in advance ..... I will post some pictures soon re my anal refurb

Unfortunately it doesn't seem to cover the bolts unless I'm missing something ?

You are right sorry, can measure when I get home, but from memory I think HT M8 but will check

There are 4 bolts per side - on my S2 these are M10 x 35 mm 8.8

There are 2 bolts per cylinder - on my S2 these are M6 x 12 mm

forgot to add ..... both with standard split lock washers.

Many thanks Tim I can confirm bolt sizes are correct, would it be worth sharing on the bolt wiki ?

Hi Chris, I can add these to the bolts wiki, over the weekend.

Nice pictures, thanks for sharing. I'm also in the middle of an anal refurb and maybe you can help me with some info.

1. Do you where I can get some new CV joint bolts ? M8x50mm, torx, 12.9 ?

2. The U-shaped bracket at the back of the diff is different to the original Ford part. Where did you get this from ?

3. Are those new Gold plated CV joints, or the result of a lot of "elbow grease" ?
