Lovely Tuscan for sale
Discussion

Hi everyone. I am looking at possibly going from a Chimaera to this lovely Tuscan. The advert does not give much away and I have not had chance to speak with the dealer yet. Does anyone know the car and history, is that a fair asking price. And no information on the advert about a rebuild. Any help and advice would be very much appreciated.
Many thanks
Kev

Usual TVR conditions apply.
Is the engine a basket case, or some form of rebuild?
Is the chassis clean and tidy?
Smaller issues.
When was the clutch and slave done
Who did and when was the last 12K.
It looks tidy, like. The interior colours are a challenge, personally speaking.
Eyes open and Bon Chance!

I have been thinking about a Tuscan and I would be heading down the M4 if I was sure about moving away from the Chim:

Hi Kev, it's an S so will attract a premium, I know a few people that have gone from Chim to a standard Mk1 Tuscan, no need to buy an S is the general comment, speak to Mike W from the EMTVRCC, he'll confirm this.
By the way, did you know the Tamora was a far better car than the Tuscan

Hi Bob, yes I do like the Tamora and would love one in red, what do you think to this one

Hi Kev, apologies for being flippant, the Tuscan is a great car, I often think about trading in the Tam for a Tuscan, my current favourite is the Nebula blue Mk1, that said I do the same with the Cerbera Speed 6 and the T350 LOL.http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/t...
The red Tam looks good value, the best one for sale on PH at the moment imho, get it for sub £21k and I think it's a bargain, I'm around all weekend, so if you want to drive a Tam give me a shout.
Just had this from the dealer, can anyone tell what they think is a fair cash price, no p/X ......Thanks

Looking at the S cars for sale Id say the schmoo car is better value.
Tuscans are far departed from a chimaera in many respects. Have a look at the thread in my profile, it'll give you a flavour of what can happen. But there's no doubt any of the speed six range will likely increase in value having one of the last solely British designed and built engines.
