I bought a spare one before I cut mine and in truth four years on I have never used the whole one which is still in the garage. I don't want to sell it but you don't need a spare, done properly it will seal and still be water tight. Get your saw, man up and attackbiggrin
Good luck

Roseytvr I hear what your saying , and have thought about it . As I can do it the same as my S ... But sometimes when pushing on you have a feeling you might loose the roof . So a spare is always nice to have ...if the unfortunate should happen ..
Also I've got plenty of work to do at home ,halfway thru an extension , halfway thru my man shed (pub gym doghouse)
, then I might start foundations for tool storage .... So it might take time to do this mod as I'm easily distracted for man things ...

Hello Kie

Why not buy a Surrey roof, I have one and its great folds down and fits in boot and you don,t have to empty contents of the boot either
