Apologies.

If I connect a Mac Book Pro to an iPad Pro via a lightning cable, will I be able to transfer files both ways?

TIA

Why can't I just drag a file from one folder to another like any normal FTP. Bloody hate iTunes, me.

Use the new notes app in El Capitan and iOS 9 or dropbox.

Or iCloud Drive.

Or send them through AirDrop

Or email them to yourself
