Buying small amounts of metal - Oxford/Didcot/Reading Area

I often need bits of metal bar, round & angle for various small projects. I buy off of ebay but its takes a bit of time an planning (not what I am good at).

What I really want to do is shoot out somewhere local and buy small amounts or dive in a metals off cut skip in exchange for some cash.

I am out and about between Oxford and Reading, can anyone recommend a metal stockist/small engineering company/scrappy that would fit the bill ?
