Having watched Mr Ecclestone's interview with Eddie Jordan earlier today about the sale of F1, I predict the following:

That F1 in 2016 will have new owners (or custodians/investors).
With new 'ownership' will come new rules.
The new rules will allow Honda and Renault to actually make the changes required to their engines that they are currently prevented (tokens) from making. Bit of bickering from Ferrari and Mercedes of course, but that way everyone can be stronger I guess.

Basically, CVC etc can now walk away from a mess, make a handsome profit, and let someone else get the sport working again.
So the 'behind the scenes' meetings are basically that, just stalling for time.

As I've said before, can you imagine Ferrari being in the same position as McLaren? No? The rules would be changed. A new 'owner' of F1 is the perfect solution for everyone. This replaces my Mugen Honda solution in another thread!

The owners of the commercial rights of F1 don't set the rules for the formula.

Plus pretty much no one is going to pay what CVC want for the rights at the moment, it's just Bernie playing games...
