Choices - Sanding a floor or replace?
Discussion
So I've got a solid bamboo floor in a room, approx 10 sq mtrs. I put it down at least 8 yrs ago and it was a relatively easy job to do (T&G)
It could now do with a refresh due to some large scratches and discolouring.
The room was used by one of the kids who has since flown the nest, so future damage will be unlikely/minimal.
I've had a quote to sand/prime and varnish for £480.00 all in.
I could buy the exact same flooring for approx £200.00 (Easy, relaxed 2 day job to lay myself)
What would the general consensus be as to which is the best option?
