Surprised this hasn't been picked up. Five car convoy of a Lambo, 2 x R8's, 2 x AMG run from Police, ends up in a collision and a few arrests. Groom missed his wedding the day after as he was still in a Police cell. Any more news around? Sounds like hire cars.

Would it be in poor form to have a guess at the ethnicity of the people involved?

Yes, although that doesn't mean it would be inaccurate.

Not in and of itself, no. If we start making generalisations across entire groups of people on the basis of the correct guess, then we're into the territory of poor form.

That said, I don't see why it would matter. They're all going to be guys, their gender didn't make them behave like idiots either, that would be the Idiot Gene.

Why would it matter? So we can make sweeping generalisations about a race of people?

No - because it is extremely prevalent with a certain ethnic group to hire supercars, act like they are above the law, drive like bellends, put lives at risk - all in the name of a wedding.

Maturity seems to be optional to them.

The Birmingam and northern type tend to be quite different to others anywhere else.

I think they are a race unto themselves.

But why would their ethnicity matter?

I am sure I have seen other ethnic groups drive like idiots in congested areas too.

Indeed, most guys get pissed on their stag do rather than drive around city centres in supercars while high on coke! Seeing as they were heading towards Oldham and Failsworth and the MEN has chosen not to report any names (or maybe it wasn't allowed to) does give a good hint.

I like the way that the Audi R8 ended up smashed into an Asda sign saying 'Helping You Spend Less Every Day'.

Not sure whats worse... that the Police have the time/money/resource to update ttter, or the fact that what they write is incomprehensible gibberish, or that they refer to one of their own vehicles as a "cop car". What next - will they start calling themselves "the feds"?

"Stag do goes horribly wrong. Groom for wedding today + 5 arrested after fight 1am turns into pursuit of Audi R8 + Lambo with cop car rammed"

Surely that should be a "1am fight", not a "fight 1am"?

Because I know of no other ethnic minority who do this for a wedding.

Most others go to a strip club or abroad for a holiday instead of hiring a supercar and ragging it around a city centre with the hazard lights on thinking that traffic laws can't be applied to them for some reason.

Yeah, you got me, with total your knobbetry and your overwhelming sense of wanting to be outraged.

Because chavs and chav-speakers are a recognised race and all the people who drive R8's are obviously all morons (you drive an R8 don't you?)

Retard!
