To the cerb driver who was parked on the Launton road near Bicester as I sailed past in my silver Chim - I was back in Brill before it dawned on me that you were probably waiting for the Vulcan to fly past! Hope you got a good view of it. Did anyone else get to see its last flight? Any pics?

There is one final flight in October, date to be arranged according to the Vulcan to the Sky website so you may get one more chance to see her.

I found it on the Daily Telegraph's website so can't say although they were covering Goodwood?

I saw it years ago from a farm on the side of a hill just below Biggin Hill where it did a lot of its display at low level.

Practically made my young children cry!

We were lucky enough to witness it flying past at our lunch stop near Brampton on our Nomads Lakeland Trip last Saturday ( 10th Oct ).
The heads-up was given by Tees Valley Region member Lindsey "Eagle-Eye" Lee, who spotted it through the pub window, resulting in some of us barreling outside to watch it sweep over in a majestic arc. cloud9

Note: I was too old & slow to catch a picture, this was taken by my daughter on the same day, at Woodford in Cheshire, where the Vulcan was built and first flown.
