Wordpress easy 'Follow my Blogpost' plugin: any advice?

Hi there, any Word Press website builders / users here?

This spring I've put a WP website together and it's mainly about blogs. I'm getting quite some readers and they're asking me to add a 'follow me'-function to receive notifications of newly posted blogs in their inboxes. Traffic is coming from my Twitter and LinkedIn droppings which direct to my many blogs.

I've browsed in the many WP plugins area but can't find anything as simple as a 'follow me'-button (to be located near my Share-button FE).

Any suggestions?

I'm aware not all plugins wil mix with my theme or / and hosting. Worth a try and thx.

not really sure, but I have a site being developed, I used a plugin called 'bloom' and linked to mailchimp, to get people to register interest.. the bloom plugin can be implemented as a popup or embedded as a signup box, people sign up and their email is added to a mailchimp list - so from there you could email out your updates to interested parties? - I think bloom links to a number of different mail providers, mailchimp is free I think for up to 2000 subscribers


ETA, the bloom plugin generated shortcodes, so very easy/quick to setup, however just checked and looks like it's a paid plugin (I got it with my theme). Feel free to PM me..

I'm almost certain there is a free MailChimp plugin for Wordpress. Easiest way I can think of.

Yes, a simple 'Follow me' button, some WP installations have that as a standard feature on the hosting server. Mine hasn't.
