Where are you located..?

Depending on that, Wales, Scotland, Peak District. One of those IMO.

edit - Just looked at your profile. I'd actually look to France/Belgium.

Your location for a start, would help with ideas for you.

Reasonable start tomorrow, across the channel to Chateau de Cocove for the first night with lovely dinner.

Wednesday get up and head to Epernay and stay the night in one of the Champagne chateaux. Find somewhere nice and rural on the way for lunch taking in some lovely roads on the way down.

Thursday head to Bruges and stay there for Thursday night.

Friday back home to Suffolk.

What the Moose said. Although I would go straight to Epernay. Stay at the hotel Jean Moet right in the middle of town. Then head up to Bruge and stay at the Prinsenhof hotel. Two fantastic hotels perfectly positioned in the middle of town.
Breakfast at the Prinsenhof is something special with a bucket of champagne available. I'd stay there 2 nights if I were you.

Epernay is lovely, but I'm not a great Champagne fan so would suggest the Ardennes around Spa.

If you're that close to the Chunnel, head to the Mosel Valley area.

A225 Eynsford - Otford, followed by A227 Ightham into Tonbridge. Have to get up early to avoid the traffic

Im in West Malling and this what I do. We go once every couple of months. Its only a couple of hours to bruge. Day there to entertain the wife shopping, beer and dinner.

I keep meaning to do paris in a day. The good lady wont be up for that though.
