There are a few on here with some good knowledge of pocket watches but my take is that it is likely to be worth its scrap value, assuming it is gold. Sentimental value is likely to be higher than its market worth. Looking at the dial layout, it could be an auto and have an ETA 6497 (or copy) movement fitted.

The odd question about Crossior wristwatches has been asked on TZ-UK but typically they are fairly cheap quartz things.

Picture pretty much confirms its gold plated so no value in the metal.

You don't want a VW watch anyway - the timekeeping's perfect on test but completely different in real life conditions.
