I noticed I have a line going across my original LCD screen the other day, so thought I'd finally get around to changing it to Lee Gascoine's panel I bought earlier this year (or was it last year, can't remember...)

It was pretty easy, in fact, the hardest part was trying to bolt the binnacle back to the dash!

Binnacle assembly out of the car:

Shroud removed - was so much glue!

And back in the Tam, and surprisingly (for me), it all works!

Another little mod ticked off the list...

Chris, I've got my microphone sitting in the "V" above the clocks. Works well and much neater in my opinion

Good idea!

Will have to change the position to where you have yours.

It's for the head unit, hands free - it also allows me to text back using voice recognition, which only really works when the engine's switched off due to cabin noise..

Good work!

Any tips on removing the glue from the shroud? I have a carbon one to fit, hoping to get it done this weekend!

Thanks!

Cheers, I just used a blunt knife and gently prised apart.

Had the first experience of Lee's LCD screen in the sunshine yesterday, it really is brilliant. Why didn't they make them like this from the offset!!!?

Thanks Lee smile

Chris

It's been discussed before but I couldn't work out what the answer was...... does the Momo Trek R steering wheel bolt straight on or does it need a new boss?

Thanks

No you need a boss unless you want to tit about drilling/tapping new holes in the existing one

Don't think so. You need a Personal to Momo Boss not sure if others would do the job sorry
