Largely in the spirit of the "The "Sh*t Driving Caught On Dashcam" Thread" thread I thought we could definitely use a "The "Post Daily Mail stories here" thread" thread.

Please knock yourselves out posting links here to whatever thinking the Daily Mail is currently doing for you. Other posters can then comment on how the country has gone to the Salukis / Kangals.

This way all the Daily Mail threads will be in one nice, neat, tidy place, which will save the grumpy curmudgeons the irritation of opening and closing yet another thread linking to the Daily Wail's rhetoric.

Who'd like to be first?

We could a score them:

Headline contains 'migrants/refugees' - 10 points
Headline contains 'cancer' - 10 points
Labour bashing - 10 points
Tory bashing - 15 points
Article mentions asset (house or car) - 5 points per mention
Article contains a picture of subject looking sad - 2 points per photo

BONUS POINTS
Article is a actuality 4 years old but is currently re-circulating social media - 1 point per year out of date.
Article contains a graphic for the benefit of simpletons - 5 points

I think the basic premise of the thread is fundamentally flawed as it would require people to actually read that turd of a news paper. I'd rather boil my head.

Love the idea of scoring them. But pnce the thread was up and running, hadn't planned on visiting.

Zombie, threads where the op wants to talk about a DM story are far too common. Today it was some tripe about an aston and a photographer.

Some poor girl popping out for milk is 'flashing her enviably toned tummy/legs/bum'

Paedophiles are everywhere - 'Hey check out 17 yrs old Disney/TOWIE/Made in Chelsea stars new bikini pics'

Army Officer jailed for whatnot - "L/Cpl Numptie was jailed for ........"

My recent favourite was a dog with a face full of spines who was 'attacked' by a porcupine.

My oldest boy went to Uni to study 'English with journalism', he dropped the journalism part after one lecture, I've never been prouder of him.

I think you're rather missing the point. The idea is to rid the rest of the site of turgid festering Daily Wail stories so beloved of the average hard of thinking pleb, then they can all come here and wail on about foreigners decimating house prices whilst those with more than two brain cells get our site back.

However since the NP&E Forum exists, arguably the facility for corralling the frothing tabloidists already exists.
