Watched Risky business last night, the bit where she is straddling him on the chair and the music turns into a guitar riff always makes me rewind it and watch it again.

The other bit in ferris beuller when they are in the art gallery also makes me hit the rewind, any others?

The section in the pre-title part of "Tomorrow Never Dies" where the missile is heading over the terrain. The combination of the cuts from the missile view, the destination and the music - especially how the music ties in - is what makes it my favourite Bond PTS. Rest of film is a bit disappointing after that.

Mine is without doubt this scene from Sunshine. Youtube vid quality not great but link here

They are approaching the sun and are all called up to come and view the shape of mercury passing in front of it. The visuals and the score just does it for me every time.

Good thread. I agree with the museum scene in FBDO (my favourite film). I still get goosebumps at the "reveal" scene of The Sixth Sense.

Are you ready for me, Ralph?

I love that scene, was my introduction to Tangerine Dream, and Rebecca De Mornay.

The park scene from Good Will Hunting, think it's wonderful.

For excitement the launch sequence from Apollo 13 really gets my heart pumping, even though they goofed on the CGI the whole scene is killer

Agree with the museum scene from FBDO. Great music - instrumental version of Dream Academy's "Please please please let me get what i want".

Loved all the Tangerine Dream in Risky Business.

Final scene of Cinema Paradiso, when the famous film director plays the reel of tape left to him by the projectionist from his childhood village.

You really need to have watched to whole film to put it in context.

Last time I saw that was in 1999, watching Episode I after queuing on release day at the Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard.

Those words got a standing ovation with whoops and cheers, plastic light sabres aloft.

When it all died down a little the audience realised that we were reading stuff about a trade federation and taxation of trade routes...
