X3 2.0d M Sport Lease / PCP
Discussion
I think you may find it difficult to find any one giving X3's away
Mine was a factory order and took 10 months to arrive
I believe the wait is a little less now ( I've had mine 6 months)
Discounts are more readily available on the bigger engines rather than the 20d
Demand still outstrips supply unfortunately and to quote my local dealer who said "we can't get them and we could sell every one we do get ten times over at full price)
Yes there are discounts but not massive ones I'm afraid

Has she tried the modern auto?
She hasn't and if I'm honest neither have I however it's looking like we will have to get used to them as BMW seem heel bent on only selling cars with auto boxesBoggy

It's what the public wants, the auto is so good with no negatives that only 1 in every 25 X3's are manual (and to be honest the manual box isn't that great)
Our 120d drives lovely, it's no performance car as such however I don't have any complaints regarding gear changesBoggy

Just bought a 3 year old X3 m sport with loads of extras. I seriously don't understand why people go PCP or lease using the excuse you save money.
Not many decent deals on X3's though as looked at loads of different offers. All of them seem to hemourage money.
If you're financing the car (new or used) then your monthly payment will often be lower on the new car - and if you only intend to keep it for say 3 years anyway - your total outlay may be lower on a new one.Not many decent deals on X3's though as looked at loads of different offers. All of them seem to hemourage money.
If paying cash, the above obviously doesn't apply.

The days of reduced flexibility, performance and economy with an Auto have been firmly vanished with the 8 speed ZF automatic gearbox
And in a PCP / lease generally it won't cost you a. Penny as the residual reflects

Agree, we always tend to either PCP or lease our main car for this reasonIf paying cash, the above obviously doesn't apply.

That doesn't make any sense? Not many decent deals on X3's though as looked at loads of different offers. All of them seem to hemourage money.
With such high residuals, buying a 3 year old one doesn't make much sense.

We have a manual f20 116d and E90 320d manual, which as you say are fine, but it doesn't work well with the F25 drivetrain.

I'll have a look at both however I'm not sure we are going to get much of a dealThe days of reduced flexibility, performance and economy with an Auto have been firmly vanished with the 8 speed ZF automatic gearbox

Coast to coast are showing about 2.5k off a 2.0d x3 the issue will be how long you have to wait.
I got just under £6k off my 2015 x3 3.0d but waited best part of 10 months
Thanks,I got just under £6k off my 2015 x3 3.0d but waited best part of 10 months
Think we are going to PCP as the lease deals don't look great, it's really down to how much deposit as well as PCM payment.
You would think BMW would start building more and doing deals if they can sell them ?

I think it is a case they are selling as many as they can build. Think we are going to PCP as the lease deals don't look great, it's really down to how much deposit as well as PCM payment.
