The write-ups seem to say that a 2WD version is for "serious" drivers. Does that mean that this version is less stable for regular drivers (sort of like switching the driver aids to race or something), or is the difference not really noticeable under normal driving conditions, only on the track?

I'm quite interested in the car, but dont want something that requires particular skills to control on the road.

the poor journalist charged with knocking-out 500 words on a car with a couple of driveshafts disconnected has to concoct something !

Thank goodness that motoring journalists are absolute driving gods capable of taming cars less mortals can only watch in awe...or read about about with no witnesses

My 2wd gallardo with 560hp is fine for mere mortals.... Commands more respect, but much more fun at saner speeds..

What they mean to say is you drive the car rather than being driven,

As ever good video from Jethro, dispelling some of the myths of the 4wd cars.
