Just a question, what are the opinions on these 2 options for the V8 Vantage

I am not worried about MOT failure, just curious to see what peoples thoughts are

From what I understand, similar potential BHP increas but noise will be alot louder with the decat

Depends if you have an early car with two cats or later with four.
Decat secondary on later cars.
Earlier cars often need ecu changes to prevent emissions warnings.

I have a 2007 Vantage, noise was the one thing I was thinking about, I dont mind it being loud at higher revs but in the lower range do not want it to drone

I have had sportscat on other cars and it was fine, just added a bit of raspiness to the sound and a bit more volume. Also have had decat on other cars and it was too much

Just as a heads-up incase anyone is interested. I am removing my RS Fabrications 200 cell sports cats from my V8 Vantage this week before trading in. Fitted in November 2013, done 6k miles. Absolutely mind blowingly awesome and transforms the car.

200 cell cats and a sports back box is enough noise for me. No MOT issues, very occasional emissions light which is O2 sensor related.

I think this will be them advertised in the classifieds. I've got the same type fitted to my car, without doubt probably the best exhaust mod I've ever done to any of my cars.
