Good day all in all, but doesn't quite make up for scrapping Summer Wednesdays.

Yup, I went along with a mate, was a pretty decent day. Cold, but at least the rain held off.

I must have missed the R34, awesome thing.

Used to regularly attend the Summer Wednesdays event, was always some nice metal down there among the chavvy stuff. Shame it's stopped really!

Yeah it was really cold! I gave in by noon and put a fingerless glove on my left hand. Did wonders for my panning

It's a big shame they stopped, there was always such a good atmosphere and it's great to get out for a drive after a st day at work and just meet up over cars. Boo!

I didn't bring any gloves at all, that was daft. Also I didn't take a mere fraction of photos compared to your snapping away! Which is odd, because panning is cool

Yeah I heard it was because of the huge queue of traffic it created right along the A20, often still there quite later on, too? Or at least it certainly didn't help. It got too popular for it's own good

It definitely grew to be too popular. But they shot themselves in the foot really by just cancelling completely - loads of my friends refused to go. Could have just moved the event to Sundays and charged a small fee. Moving it to a Sunday in November was a bit bloody extreme, and the turnout was still massive!
