No idea why this hasn't been plastered all over the PH front page confused

Carbon fibre tub'd version of Murry's iStream design, sub 1000kg, possible bike engine-what's not to like?

It would be a rival to the 4C. I wonder how it will be priced.

I remember reading a while back about istream, have to say that pic above looks impressive. Strikes a cool balance of Smart roadster size with some sharp design and decent weight. Like.

Looks great. Which means it will never be built, like all the other half decent concept cars. Wake me up when they are in the showrooms. Otherwise, waste of bandwidth.

Not much further to add I'm afaid but the rumour is Yamaha's largest bike engine and it will be in the front of it (which makes the exhaust positioning & lack of transmission tunnel "unique"!).

Looking at that chassis, it has to be mid-engine, right?

You'd think so, I'm presuming lazy journalism for the front engined comment.

Still, looks tremendous doesn't it?

Video of it on the stand. Does look rather nice.

Extensive Petrolicious article here: http://petrolicious.com/articles/daily-fix/what-do...

Yamaha engineering, a chance for Murray to show (finally) that he's capable of designing a thoroughly modern, affordable sports-car, Pagani-esque interior... here's just hoping it has a characterful engine, such as this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W-GQBrXpL14

Oh, and this looks more production prototype than concept. Proper door mirrors and all.

I'm finding it very hard not to want one of those!

Styling is not necessarily to my taste in all areas but the concept is fantastic!
