Valentines meal in Greenwich
Discussion
Hi all,
My wife and I will be in Greenwich on 13th and 14th Feb 2016.
Never been before, taking her to see the Strictly show at the O2 on the Saturday night, so looking for somewhere to get a nice meal on the Sunday (Valentines), night.
We will be staying at the Ibis hotel Greenwich as that seems central.
Not particularly looking for the tacky romantic type, we just happen to be there on that date so would like a nice dinner.
Thanks for any suggestions

Been to the Old Brewery a few times - it is very nice:

Set in the grounds of the Old Naval Academy right in the heart of riverside Greenwich, beside Cutty Sark.
They even do a tasting platter of beers for you!

That looks right up my street, now gonna send them an email to see what ridiculous prices they will charge for Feb 14th
Slightly pricier than the Old Brewery but I'd recommend the Guildford Arms. It's in a residential area (i.e. non-touristy), about 7-8 mins walk from the Ibis. Get a table upstairs if possible - more romantic than downstairs which is more gastro-pubby. The Hill is also worth a look, again more of a locals place but only about 5 mins from the Ibis.
Edited to say it doesn't look like the Guildford is usually open on Sundays, but might be worth checking for Valentines.
