Do any of you know of a small animal tracking device?

A friend of mine keeps a couple of ducks(runners) no matter how hard she tries they always manage to escape. They never go very far(I assume) and have plenty of open land meaning they won't get into any real trouble. They usually find their own way home.

We have come up with a plan, if we can get a tracking device small enough to not bother the ducks, we can see where they go and if there is a time when they don't come back, she can see where they are.

I have seen them for cats and dogs but not sure if they are too big to annoy the ducks. Being runners, I believe they don't fly very well, if at all so it won't/shouldn't hinder their flying abilities.

Besides, I like a gadget!

I've been looking for something for my Boston Terrier, everything seems too big! Not found any for cats (that'd fit him)

Opened this looking for ideas on tracking our latest fostering placement...

...he's human, so size not so much an issue!
