Morning all,

I've misplaced the mounting bolts for my 4 bolt front calipers...........

Can anybody tell me what size they are please. From memory I think they're M10 metric fine (1.25mm) but I need to know the overall length and of course the length of the shank.

Ta very much

Right then, I now know that they are M10x60mm Metric fine cap head bolts. It's just the shank length (unthreaded length) that I need to know.

According to this chart you'll get 26mm of thread on a 60mm bolt, so a 34mm shank?

some vehicle manufacturers have special bolts made for things like calipers and propshafts with non standard ratio of thread to shank.

Thanks for that. In the unlikely event that TVR have used a standard I guess the best way is to measure the depth of the body of the caliper and go from there.

Cheers

Did TVR use "High Tensile" bolts to hold the calipers in place?
