Hi,

I put this up in general gassing but it seemed to have gotten deleted, I'm currently working out the pros and cons of shipping all my stuff and cars back to the uk after 12 years in oz, planning on heading back mid next year. I have a V8 landcruiser ute 2009, 200 series landcruiser and a hz holden ute with 454 (7.4l) big block transplant.

I've pretty much ruled out shipping the 200 series, and I'm in 2 minds about the cruiser ute, I posted on another thread here last year about that one.

what would you guys think the market would be for the hz ute, it would basically be owing me 10k GBP when landed in the Uk. I'm not worried about shipping costs as I have a few containers going anyway.

I don't want to be in a situation where I have a sellable vehicle here and be unsellable at home I don't necessarily want the the full 10k when/if I had to sell it over there but I don't want to write the whole lot off either.

what are you guys opinions of its worth and would there be a market if I had to sell it to free up some funds.

pretty much same as one in the photo here.

thanks

As above, I don't think you'd struggle to find a buyer... Looks lovely!

How I did reply - and I can't find it either.

Still looks like I was talking sh*t (as usual) I thought it would be hard to shift. Maybe thats why they deleted it wink

If that went up for sale for £10k, that'd be sold by the end of the day I'd imagine! cloud9

If you do bring it back, remember to put all of those spares you've had in the garage for years, in the back as part of your personal effects. biggrin

That's great guys thanks the general consensus is that it's sell anyway , I was worried id be left with something worth over $20k here which I couldn't cash in if required back there.

Now to decide on the landcruiser ute,

Thanks again

Definitely bring it over (with plenty of spares in the back) and sure you would have no trouble selling it ;-)
We need another HZ in the U.K.

Are you nuts?

Have you seen it over here lately? Unless you have any pressing family reasons, I'd be staying put in Oz!

ETA. Nice Ute.

I have a couple over here (one with a 457 LS2 stroker)

I'd like to give it a go at home again never settle one way or another until I do , been in oz 12yrs so maybe I won't last too long back there. Have you got those Utes in the uk or oz?
