I want to replace the rocker cover gaskets. The left hand one was quite simple to do, but the right hand side looks more like a PITA, plumbers heaven there !
Can anyone tell me what should be removed as I would prefer to keep the fuel rail in situ and coolant hoses connected.
Thanks.

From memory, plenum and associated hoses off, that will expose the rocker box and renew from there as before.

No water hoses or fuel rail need to be removed.

RH side? Looking forwards or backwards?

Drivers side on the 500 you will need to disconnect the water hoses from the pipes bolted to the rocker cover and I the petrol hoses from the fuel rail in order to get the rocker cover off.

Even then it will be tight getting it pas the feul rail coonecors.

While you've got the fuel pipes disconnected it's a good opportunity to check and renew the often neglected fuel pipes

You dont need to break into the cooling loop to remove the o/s RC it is fiddly however frown and recommend using masking tape on said RC unless you want to scratch the thing to buggery frown its one of the reasons many of us do this kind of thing
