Hi all, I will be using a 1.6 Ford Sigma (Zetec SE) engine in my race car and I am looking to see if anyone has any experience/recommendations as to any OEM individual Coil on plug ignition coils that fit the engine without too much modification?
Although my application isn't a kit car I know that these engines are a popular choice in kit cars so thought it would be worth an ask in here.

They're coil pack, just with HT leads, you're not realistically going to gain anything from switching.

If you are revving more than about 9000RPM then you can gain power due to dwell times. Other than that they can make for a tidier installation

Pretty much any production car or bike coil could be used. Weren't they fitted as standard?

They're an EDIS coil pack on the end of the head.
