toilet doesnt flush great..what do i need

we have a 9 ish ltr cistern mounted behind the toilet in the normal position , tried a few flusher valves over the years , like screw fix and turbo flush

trouble is it doesnt always clear the pan in one go

what do i need to upgrade to for a more powerfull flush

A new pan perhaps?

Our old toilet used to struggle to flush toilet paper. The newer one we have now, with a smaller 'collection' area, could shift a turd all American meat eater Lee Majors would be proud of.

pan swapping sounds like hard work...i was hoping a new cistern would sort it

but yeah i would like something to cope with heavy duty remains

Definitely a new pan. I changed mine this year and it's so much better than before. I think it was a cheap B&Q suite before, a previous owner put it in.
