Which 911 for 30k?

Bored of my Audi S5 DD and thinking of a 911 to replace it. What would you buy with 30k? I'm looking for something fun and reliable. Flappy paddle Fezza in the garage so I'm thinking manual 997 with chrono plus..? Any suggestions or pointers from the experts here?

Find a couple of K and get a 997.2 C2S don't bother with Chrno unless you get a PDK car.

PSE is essential, PDK in my view is essential but thats up to you.

I would find another 5k and get a 997 gen 2 DFi Carrera manual.

£20k on the car, a 997.1, and £10k in the bank just in case the engine needs a visit to Hartech? And if you're lucky, you'll never use that £10k.

This, or a 996 if you prefer.

Thanks all. So it's stretch for a gen2 or buy an early gen1 (not keen on the 996 headlights unf) and keep 10k in the bank just in case. I'm no great driver but I enjoy it so manual if gen1 and manual or PDK if gen2? PSE is a must, not too fussed by S or not (should I be?). Appreciate the input. Going to try a few at 911virgin, RJS, etc.
