Old cars that they still make...
Discussion
Inspired by the Cars You Never Knew Existed thread , and the fact that I found out there that the Vauxhall Astra MKII is still made
It got me thinking what cars you thought were dead are still made?
I suppose the obvious one is the Hindustan Ambassador which was a 1950s Morris. Is that sill in production?
For now I guess the Defender fits into this category.
There are probably ancient Rovers being made in China.....but I guess as the developing world gets more sophisticated locally built current models of Audis Jaguars or whatever will become the norm.
So what's still alive that most of us thought was dead?

Does the Caterham Seven fall into this category? It's not the same car that Chapman designed in the 50's, but it's certainly evolved from that.
I'd have thought so. I doubt any of the cars I am thinking about would be totally original. They're bound to have modern engines and stuff.996TT02 said:
They sold an even older looking version of the land cruiser until a few years ago in Abu Dhabi (maybe they still make it).Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
