Just come back from an auction at Brooklands.
A MKI RS2000 failed to sell under the hammer at £36,000!
Yes it was mint, complete with period supplying dealer sticker in the rear window and AVOC badges, but £36K - wow!
Sold my plastic front 1978 RS2000 in 1984 for less than £2,500!
Problem now is would you want to risk even using something like that, never mind leaving it anywhere? Albeit not a problem I will have.
