I opened BB up at 7:29 and saw your post - perfect timing, thanks for the reminder. Other than the "over dramatized to appeal to the mouth-breathers" narration, it was a really good watch.

I've stopped watching anything that has him in it, as I find him quite irritating. I'm sure many will say the same about my posts though.

smile I find him a lot more honest and interesting to watch/listen to than most but actually last night I thought he was so in awe of the plane that he was not quite as excitable as usual, great programme and a real shame it won't fly again, hadn't realised it was designed by the same guy who did the Lanc either!

Was a good program - the contrast between him and the Lanc was amazing. That it was the same dame designer and not that many years between them - superb

Although he is an avid plane buff, he didn't add much to it imho, but he has got enough of a different style to be watchable (for now at least)

I'd normally agree 100% with this plus I find it really difficult to understand what he is saying but that Vulcan programme was brilliant.
More because of the subject matter than him though.

"EEEEE....Get t'kettle on...Cup t't't'tea...T'wking off a dog in van....EEEEEE Vulcan bomber".

I think he's a talented bloke and it sounded interesting. But by the time he came on the television I decided I would rather spend my free time shoving wasps up my arse than listen to him.

I like him although I find listening to him talk exhausting.

I've read his autobiography and he writes the same way. It's even tougher to stick with on paper!

I'm very fond of Guy Martin but can't stand the narration on these Ch4 shows...
Over dramatising everything!

His Royal Enfield/India trip was good...

I liken myself to Guy Martin, we both have the same zest for life. I too think its fking whimsical to crawl into a hole armed with a flash light, spinning a desk fan around, looking for cracks while killing my palms and knees on the rivets that I'm leaning on. Its funny, just the other day I was cleaning the rotors on my Dyson, removing all the dead skin and pubes that had amassed over the years whilst thinking, "I wish I was doing it in the dark up a hole" it wouldn't have got much better than that.
