Well October 2014 saw me buy my first Modet T, a 1911 Torpedo.
It was in amazing condition and as beautiful to look at with lots of brass. The car came direct from the Ford museum in Holland. It was everything I ever wanted but lacked one thing ...... 4 seats.

Today I purchased my second Ford Model T. A very correct 1915 Tourer. It will arrive with me on Thursday.

It's a dream in so many ways, my Father had 2 model t's but asdly died at 44,when I was 19. 20 years later and the bug has taken hold and it's an amazing experience.

Roll on summer !

Well, it's rather refreshing to see a Model T without a huge V8 and a set of wide Cragar wheels for once.

Beautiful!

Salud!

NAJS (Need Another Jaguar Syndrome) is a well recognised condition, I don't see why Model T's shouldn't be similarly addictive. I'm beginning to wonder if you can get addicted just from perusing a forum.
(Where would I park one, where would I park one, where would I park one... keep repeating until the urge dies down to manageable levels)

It does look wonderful, I'm sure you'll enjoy it when the weather improves enough.

At least with cars most addicts suffer the natural restriction of storage space, much more difficult to resist mature yet interesting bikes. They can just appear as if by magic.

This is so true. I have a friend who now has eight pre/post war two wheelers...all beautifully hand restored.

Wish, it's quite refreshing to see your two early Fords. Can't remember the last time I saw one out and about, they look great...

biglaugh We recently met up with some good friends that we'd not seen for a few years. Paul owned a couple of vintage bikes when I last saw him so I asked if he'd still got the Bonni' and the Norton. He laughed and said I've got 12 now! Twelve exclaimed is wife, last time you told me it was only 10! Well it seems a couple more had been sneaked in. As you say though he has a wooden garden summer house cabin converted into a kind of museum and more in his workshop. cool

Me, I struggle with my lot and looking at his collection the only thing that was in my favour was that his oldest was 1937 so I beat him by 5 years...

That's twice this week I've been called eccentric.

Thank you for the kind words. It's a privilege to be able to own these two.

If your out and about on Thursday you may well see the red one heading for the new forest area. It's being transported down there for a photo with another T

Beautiful, and so nice to come across another member of the Just One More Club. I'd love a veteran but OH says no, it wouldn't be used enough.
