991 glass roof squeaky
Discussion
I have a 991 gts with the black glass roof. It squeaks whilst driving down any road that isn't dead smooth. as though the whole roof is not welded to the body sides but clipped in with plastic. I'm not saying that's the case because I don't know how they are built, but that's how it feels. Has anyone else got a squeaky glass roof?

I had a 991 GTS with a glass sunroof, and it was silent..! I hate squeaks and rattles, so I would have noticed it had it been a problemBefore it, I had a 991 50th anniversary, and that did have a rattle behind the driver's head in the B pillar, it seemed to be coming from behind the hole where the seat belt went, and I seem to remember fiddling with it to silence it

Wow I did not realise this could be an issue, thanks OP for raising it. I am about to buy a 991 with a glass roof is this a common fault.
Has anyone had a good OPC experience re warranty when raised with them?
Can squeaks of this nature be fixed?
Thanks..
For clarity, I do not believe my issue is with the roof and I have seen nothing that points to the roof being a common issue. Has anyone had a good OPC experience re warranty when raised with them?

I had one of the first 991's in 2012 and my sunroof ( metal ) doesn't squeak when driving. It does however make the most horrendous noise on a hot day when opening. It has been back to the OPC three times and all they have done is cover the mechanism with grease. Which when the roof was open covered the back window with grease. I expressed my unhappiness with the roof. I do still have to put up with the roof making the noise when opening on a hot day. Just have to make sure the engine is running and the sports exhaust is on to cover up the noise of the sunroof opening
