Yep, not far from me. And respect to you on the mileage my 550 isn't far behind at 55k.

I think the London area FOC organiser takes credit for most of the miles on this particular 575. I know the car well and it's a lovely example.

He does and it is. But I have added around 4,000 miles this summer from memory.

I see that Justin Banks bought the NZ car that sold at Silverstone Auctions recently. A 65,000 mile car, it sold at around £65,000 IIRC. Justin has it up at £89,995.... Nice profit in that car!!!!

We found a dead and largely dessicated rat in the engine bay of the 575 on our Le Mans trip this year, are rats standard equipment or is it because this car had been de-catted smile

The car had just been serviced by a Ferrari main dealer surprised they didn't notice it.

Awesome car but very wide

Photo of the ex rat (spoilered so you don't have to see the yuk thing if you don't want to)

LOL…Ferrari Main Dealer didn't see it because they changed the oil without lifting the bonnet!

It's a MANUAL car, very very rare. IIRC, only 40-odd made.

Yep, you're a very lucky boy!

Meridien Modena are selling a SA, stating the value compared to the auction result above. A little disingenuous given theirs is an F1.

I nearly bought an SA about five years ago when they were far cheaper than they are now, but was put off by the cracking roof issue which Ferrari were not covering under warranty. I wonder if this has been satisfactorily resolved (or may be moot as the cars probably do no mileage now?).

Same here cgt2. Almost traded in my 550 for 575SA, around 2009 and as far as I recall was going for c£90k at a main dealer!! I spoke to a few owners at FOC and tales of failing roof mechanisms was just enough to plant a seed of doubt in my mind, so I walked away. Should have just been impulsive and bought the thing on the spot. Sometimes it pays to go with the heart and not the head.
