I am not a connoisseur on car ferries but it looked familiar and turns out I had been on that particular ferry back in the mid 90s when it was called the Spirit of Tasmania. Good to see it still around. I actually enjoyed going on it. Four times in 6 months. Standing on the back watching Port Phillip bay on a summers morning. Conversely the first trip getting out into Bass Strait was a bit scary in mid winter, went up on deck to see the rather large waves.

Haha, 10 years ago I was crossing the Cook Strait in NZ - and underneath the PC Maori name it said 'Pride of Cherbourg!They should just have swapped over...!
