The MiL wants a fitbit and we're happy to get her one, but we also know that she needs a tablet/phone to read the displays. She's looking at a Charge or Charge HR and my question is which tablets is it compatible with? (The lists I have found doing a google search are from Jan 2014.

- She really wants the fitbit read out on a tablet
- They have an i-pad2 which is not compatible, so I was hoping to find a cheap tablet solution
- I've toyed with getting her a cheap amazon fire as all she really wants to do is play "words with friends" but it looks like this does not work

Can anyone recommend a cheap tablet which would sync with a fitbit?
Thanks

She can also use a PC if she has one? I rarely look at the stats via my phone, just the pc, which also allows for more customization.

That includes the Galaxy S6 that was released in march so more up to date than the list you found - though I suspect it's largely phones.

Is a more general document concerning android support in general.

Many Thanks for the reply, that does help. They do have a PC and are thinking of getting a new laptop, so that might be the best option.

iPad not compatible? If it's got bluetooth it'll work, I use my Charge HR with an iPad mini no problem.

Thanks for all the answers, it's an i-Pad2 they have and it does not work sadly. I'm looking at the simplest to use Android option for them unless they are replacing their PC

Amazon Fire Tablet was available at £25 on Friday, suspect there will be some being flipped cheap somewhere.

That will run the fitbit App.
