What's a good choice of tyre for a Cooper S (R53 - 17") - I suppose, what is the best and also what is the best if budget conscious? Just road driving for 99% of the time.

I've found Parada Spec 2's suit the car really well. Not so good in the wet, although not as bad as some would have you believe.

But fantastic feel and balance.

I'll be switching the the Kumhos once my Michelins need changing. I've heard plenty of good things about them.

Very impressed for the money. Better than the Toyo t1r's on my Elise. Road noise is a bit loud but the whole car is loud so it's not really a problem. Good grip in wet and dry and nothing odd to report yet.

Would buy them again. :-)
