MOT time, at last!
Discussion
Yes - 18 months after being rudely surprised by a Hyundai my car is ready for its MOT
Changes include
It's changed from Mica Red to Black with silver stripes
The interior has gone from red and cream to black and silver, including new carpets and new hood. Did something a bit different with the dash - stripped the wood and painted it with a black base coat and a flip crackle finish which flashes between green and purple. Works very well in the flesh.
Lights - all LED front and rear with Tuscan style fronts but behind the plexi cover with a set of halo running lights on the front spots.
Gaz Golds
AP racing front discs
Straight through exhaust
Upgraded stereo (hah even with the bass unit it can't be heard) with a display in the rear view mirror for GPS and front and rear cameras
Relocate battery to boot
Complete fail to get the ventilation working!
De-carpet of the fuel tank - makes the boot look very different with a polished fuel tank in there
Split roof mod.
Oh, and a little supercharger. (OK, the biggest one I could fit)
What started as a repair for a rear end accident grew into something a whole lot more expensive.
Cannot recommend the services of Jay Chamberlain highly enough, even if he is a grumpy sod!
Photos to follow if anyone is interested....... ;-)
