Hello, can anyone advise please how I can safely extract all of the email addresses and contact names (sent/received) from my gmail account into a csv file or similar?

Many thanks.

No, that works only if they have been saved as contacts.

Same issue, sorry if I was not clear, I want to extract all of the email addresses from all of the emails I have sent or received from. Not my own contacts.

Just a flag that if it is for a work account you might want to be careful.

This might help? Export all messages to csv then you re-import to gmail as contacts the senders email addresses

http://sparkah.com/how-to-automatically-add-sender...

Also are you sure they are not already in your contacts anyway?: "Look for automatically added contacts in the Other Contacts group on the left side."

If it doesn't have access to your account, how would it harvest the addresses?

Possibly a downloadable app, with access to maybe outlook. remaining local?
