In SF on business and needed a hire car to get to the office. The PA booked a compact for me. Avis offered to upgrade me to a bright red Mustang. Well, it would have been rude not to...

Even in heavy traffic, it's hard to beat crossing the Golden Gate in such an iconic motor.

I'll try uploading some pics tomorrow.

Last time I was out there I went across the Golden gate in a Camaro SS. It's the reason I came home and bought the Monaro. I got the V8 bug after doing quite a lot of driving.

Some bugger removed the front SS badge though.

However, here's my mate doing his best pose with it. Drove From Vegas to SF stayed a few days there, drove to LA, then onto San Diego and back to Vegas. We did a Week in Vegas as well before we left.

I had a mustang when i went to the states a few months ago, but got offered a better car for an extra £700 for 2 weeks.....couldn't resist
