As im never content ive began wondering what cars i could look to buy in the future. Alot of my miles are now done in the city (southampton) and i regularly find my self parking in tight bays of squeezing through small gaps in traffic.

For a budget of lets say £3k what can be had?

The best i can come up with is the Ignis Sport.

Bonus point for anything over 150bhp/ton 200bhp/ton (mild modifying allowed) would be great but not very realistic at this price range.

Smart roadster? I drove one of these when they first came out and it was big fun - and the fun continued belting round town in one

Do you have a garage to keep it in? They are fun but they leak live a sieve and then suffer electrical problems as a result

The mk1 Fabian VRs is easily taken to 170hp and beyond. But it's still a big fat diesel lump in a small car with questionable chassis quality.

Not all of them (mine doesn't) but TBH a half cover is a good investment if you have one.
