I did over 350000 miles in my mk4 van. I bought it on only 12000 cheap after it had caught fire. It caught fire again once when I owned it & again when I sold it. All in all it was a bit of a fire hazard.

After that I bought the later model Astra but only did a few thousand in that. It was the worst car I have ever bought.

Please don't make the same mistake.
