What happened to the R8 story from today?
Discussion
The seller has now decided to keep hold of the car for a bit longer, but it'll hopefully be returning to PistonHeads auctions when they decide to sell. Apologies for any disappointment, but we do have plenty more for sale in the classifieds here
perhaps they saw how cheap everyone was saying it was, decided to pull it from sale and will be relisting it for £8k more, which would make it more in line with other cars for sale...
shame, as i also saw it and thought 'what a bargain'... old adage, if it looks too good to be true, it usually is.

Yeah quite possible although it was an auction wasn't it? So it could have sold over the estimate of course. Perhaps it'll be back as classified shame, as i also saw it and thought 'what a bargain'... old adage, if it looks too good to be true, it usually is.

I was wanting to read the comments that people had made.....
It was an R8 article so it was heading the same way as all the others:- R8s are slow.
- R8s are boring.
- My Golf R / Civic Type R is faster than that.
- R8s are a budget super car, I love them.
- R8s are NOT AT ALL SUPER CARS, they are mere sports cars. --> (Normally Lamborghini / Ferrari owners)
- R8s are grand tourers and not even sports cars. --> (Normally Porsche owners)
- Nice TT mate.
