This is how I usually use FB. It shows recent posts from the groups I belong to, without all the ads that show on the 'home' page.

But today, the `For You' page simply shows a never ending list of Suggested Groups that I might like. No actual posts.

I assume it's an update to FB. It's there any way to get it back to what it used to show?

Ugggh, FB have been messing with the feeds for a bit, there is a lot of instagram content and suggested groups in newsfeeds now. The idea is to "keep users engaged" for longer, and thus have more time to show you adverts. If you use Chrome there is an extension called Fluff Busting Purity (FB Purity) which goes a long way to tidying up the newsfeed. It's not perfect, but should improve the experience for you.

I don;'t know about on mobile but on an actual web browser you can to Feeds > groups (left column) I quite often use feeds > friends as that'll filter only friend posts.. mind you that doesnt continually show, only recent stuff from the past few days.

Thanks - Feeds > Groups gives me exactly what I want.
